As most of you know, this year’s RVP election will come to a close at the end of the month (last day balloting is 31 July). I highly encourage each of you to cast your ballot in this very important election. This election will determine the direction in which the NWP Region will proceed in the coming years and whether we remain the most recognized, active, and knowledgeable region in NATCA. Through Ham’s leadership, the NWP Region leads the way in both membership activism and legislative activism throughout the nation.
Ham has been a staunch supporter of JRF and recognizes the importance we serve as a viable piece of the big NATCA equation. He has always been there for us whenever we needed him. The other candidates have given their vision of how they would like to improve the region with ideas that may be appealing to some. The reality is that their ideas may sound good in theory, however the actually implementation of these philosophies and concepts will take an enormous amount of work, collaboration, and dedication for them to materialize. From my personal experience I can tell that Ham is who he is. He is genuine and is willing to stand up and fight for every member in the region. He is also a man of his word with a wealth of knowledge and leadership abilities. He is the type of man we need to keep as the NWP RVP. Let’s make sure he continues to lead and assist us and remaining the tip of the spear for the NATCA Organization.
Again, I hope each of you will take the time to cast your ballot as soon as possible. I am here to assist you in signing up for the electronic voting should you desire to do so. Mahalo.
